Leathief - The Botanical Bandit Pokemon

This was one of nine Pokemon that I commissioned Adam Fegarido to improve (basically, my concepts and original drawings re-done in his awesome style whilst I myself try to achieve his level of art). Adam is a really talented artist, I highly recommend you check him out: adamfegarido.deviantart.com/ . This Pokemon is based upon rodents - namely squirrels, possums and slightly on rats.

Basic Stage: Leathief
Type: Grass
Abilities: Overgrow/Pickup/Pickpocket(HA)*
Dex Number: #019(Triskillion Dex) / #001(Criatos Island Dex)
Name Origin: Leaf + thief = Leathief

Armed with sharp claws, a tail that can grip objects, speedy legs and even a loot bag, most people rarely expect its greatest weapon to be the cheeky, endearing smile it uses to lure people in. As a rite of passage of sorts, these Pokemon raid the Criatos Island Botanical Gardens for food, causing chaos and swearing amongst the gardeners. Unsurprisingly, it is popular amongst crime families who often have a difficult choice between choosing a Leathief or a Rascaring to raise.

*Pickpocket - Will gain more money after battles due to how much contribution this Pokemon gives to battles - these "contributions" mean that Leathief enters battle at least once.
